Terms of Service
Effective August 6, 2026. These terms govern your use of Cura's website and mobile apps.
Using Cura
By using Cura, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Cura.
The service
Cura helps people discover Athens-area events and community activity. The website is a landing page and waitlist page. The mobile apps provide the account-gated Cura feed and related features.
Cura is free to use. There is no paid account tier, subscription, paid feature unlock, or payment flow. Cura may earn revenue from ads shown in the mobile app.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your sign-in information secure. You may not impersonate another person, create misleading profiles, interfere with the app, or use Cura for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity.
Event information and publisher links
Cura organizes public event information from third-party sources. Cura summaries are for discovery and scanning. They do not replace the original publisher page. Event times, locations, prices, availability, and rules can change, so you are responsible for confirming details with the original source before attending.
Cura is independent and is not affiliated with the University of Georgia, Athens-Clarke County, event publishers, venues, or organizers unless stated otherwise.
Your content and moderation
If you post comments, reports, profile text, or other content in Cura, you are responsible for that content. You give Cura permission to host, display, moderate, and process that content as needed to operate the service. Cura may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or delete accounts when needed to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these terms.
Third-party services
Cura uses third-party providers for hosting, authentication, databases, app distribution, mobile advertising, and linked publisher pages. Those providers control their own services, terms, and privacy practices.
Disclaimers and liability
Cura is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that Cura will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, or available in every location. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cura Software LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill arising from your use of Cura.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law rules. We may update these terms as Cura changes. Continued use of Cura after an update means you accept the updated terms.
