Effective August 26, 2026. This policy explains how Cura Software LLC handles information for Cura's website and mobile apps.
Summary
Cura is free to use. The website is a public landing page and waitlist page. The iOS and Android apps require a Cura account to use the event feed and may show ads when mobile ad providers are configured.
Information we collect
- Waitlist information, including the name and email address you submit.
- Account information, including your email address, sign-in method, authentication records, and session information.
- Profile information you choose, including display name and theme preference.
- App activity needed to operate Cura, including selected topics or communities, saved posts and folders, votes, reports, and moderation status.
- Support messages you send to us, including your email address, issue details, and any screenshots or context you include.
- Technical information processed by service providers, such as device identifiers, IP address, diagnostics, app interactions, and crash or performance information.
How we use information
We use information to manage the waitlist, create and secure accounts, personalize the event feed, save posts, support reports, review safety or abuse issues, respond to support requests, improve reliability, comply with store and legal requirements, and show or measure ads in the mobile app.
Ads and service providers
Cura may use Google AdMob or similar mobile ad providers. These providers may process identifiers, IP address, device information, app interactions, diagnostics, and advertising data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related purposes. Cura also uses service providers for hosting, authentication, databases, app distribution, and support.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information while your Cura account is active. You can delete your account in the app from the Profile screen. Account deletion is designed to delete your account, profile, saved posts, votes, reports, and feed choices from Cura's active app database. Some provider logs, backups, or records may remain for a limited time when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or service operations.
If you cannot access the app, email info@cura.coffee with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
Children
Cura is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to Cura, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
